Exhibition: David Hockney at Centre Pompidou - From June 21 to October 23, 2017
The exhibition, of unprecedented scale, celebrates the 80th anniversary of th artist, a major figure of pop art of the 60s.
With more than 160 paintings, prints, photographs, videos, drawings and books, including the Swimming Pools and Grand Canyon series, the entire David Hockney artistic trail is traced.
The retrospective also focuses particularly on his interest in the modern technical tools for reproduction and production of images.
Indeed, throughout his career, David Hockney has adopted photography, fax, computer, printers, and more recently the Iphone and the Ipad.
